I make preserves - plum jams, loads of different marmalades, and fruit preserve jellies, like sloe, apple, bramble and quince. I try to pick local fruit in the hedgerows - all washed in Cornish rain and sunshine. 

"It's very satisfying making a bit batch of fruit preserves and after all the hard work seeing a whole row of shiny golden marmalade sitting there on my shelf. Fabulous feeling. "
